July 31 - August 15
Thursday July 31 - was our offical rest day. But even on our rest days we have a ton of fun. Late inthe day we went go-karting on an amazing track. The boys had an amazing time. Congratulation to Edmond Tawil for having the fastest lap. And to Ralph Sutton and Ralph Franco for winning second and third places.
Friday August 1 - the boys has a day of sports and leagues.
Shabbat August 2 - A big Hazak U'Baruch to Ruby CHehebar and Ray Adjmi for their insoiring Divrei Torah at the Shabbat table.
Sunday August 3 - found us on our way to Eilat. On the way we stoped at Nachal Tamar. We enjoyed climbing down this wadi. We had to use ropes and ladders to get down.
Monday August 4 - We enjoyed hiking the RED CANYON in the morning. After a short rest we spent the evening and night at King City and indoor attraction. We had a great time.

JULY 21 - JULY 30
What a crazy two weeks we had.
Monday July 21 - Was a well needed REST DAY. But even on this rest day there was action. We had another round of leagues, a whole camp game of knock out which was won by Albert Ashkenazi and we ended our day with a meeting with Hacham Ovadia Yosef.
Tuesday July 22 - We started our journey of SEA TO SEA. On this first day we hiked Nachal Kziv and ended up at Nahariya beach on the Mediteranian sea.
Wednesday July 23 - We rafted down the Jorden River and met with a Chayelet who gave us an orientation for the upcoming Gadna week.
Thursday July 24 - we ended up on the other side(eastern side) of Israel at the sea of Galile or better know as the Kinneret. We had a great time Banana Boating in the refreshing water. It was very exciting to travel Israel from Sea (Mediteranian) to Sea (Kinneeret). ... (more)
July 14 - July 20
I don't even know where to begin. This past week has been non stop action.
Monday July 14 - We went back in time on the TIME ELEVATOR. We learnt many interesting things about Jerusalems past. In order to keep with the theme of the day we then visited the Iria (city council). We were able to see a beautiful meeting room were all major policies for Jerusalem are made. We then personally met the deputy mayor of Jerusalem R' Attias. The Panaramic view of Jerusalem from his balcony was breath taking. After a delisious and nutritious lunch we traveled to the Bet Govrien caves and rappeled down the caverns. We ended our day with a delisious barbeque dinner at Gan Soccer.

July 9 - July 13
Wednesday July 9 - was a day we will never forget. It started off with a scavengar hunt in the old city with a group of soldiers. It was an experiaence to interact with them and really get to know these brave men and woman who put thier lives on the line for us to live saftly throughout the world. After lunch we were invited to eat lunch at the home of Aba and Pamela Clamen with the soldiers. During lunch the soldiers let us know how they felt about us showing our appreciation to them and we had a chance to express our feelings of gratitude and thanks to them. It was heart warming to see the the boys excitedly give the soldiers the gifts they had prepared for them. One boy, Jo Jo Sutton was so excited to give to the soldiers that he pulled off his hydration pack from his back and handed it to the one of the soldiers. July 6, 7 & 8
July 6, 7 & 8
Sunday July 6 - after another delisious breakfast we boarded our luxery bus and headed to the KENNEST. we felt the modern history of Israel come a live. We learnt about the role of the prime minister and all of the MKs (Kennest Members)/ We were dazzeled by the beautiful tapestry and mosaics created by Shagal depicting the past present and future of our nation. The old jail was a fantastic experiance. Here we relived the hardships of our nation during the british occupation of Israel. We saw a short film describing the life of a jew being icarcirated in this prison and how he lived his life. It was very hands on and all the boys enjoyed it. We then enjpyed some time at Ben Yehuda street.

AFTER TWO DAYS
After just two days, all the boys are settled and having the time of their lives. Both flights arrived safely and upon arrival, enjoyed a delicious snack. After unpacking and a short excursion on Rechov Kanfei Nesharim (like our Kings Highway) we went to visit the Kotel. We said tehillim for cholei yisrael and then enjoyed an early dinner Israel style. SHWARMA.
Friday morning after teffilah and a nourishing breakfast we headed to Kinyon Malcha( Jerusalem's biggest mall) for a digital scavenger hunt and lunch at the famous PIZZA HUT. We kicked off leagues at Kraft Stadium rented out exclusively for Machane Yisrael. The boys enjoyed playing soccer, ultimate frisbee and of course the always favorite basketball. ... (more)
